Taming the fire fox

October 27th, 2008 Notes

Business in the network is impossible without effective tools.
Today I present to you one of them. This is Mozilla FireFox - the best browser yet. You can download the distribution on the official site of Mozilla.

However, there is no need in the “naked” Fox. To get some benefit from him, we must dress in a special supplement.

In principle, all add-ons to FireFox can be found here. However, there are a lot of them, but we need no more than 10-15 pieces. Here is a list of mandatory clothes for your beast:

* Del.icio.us Bookmarks - provides access to your bookmarks and allows you to put your bookmarks on sites you like;
* FoxyTunes (optional) - allows you to control Media Player directly from the browser;
* ScribeFire - allows you to write messages to your blog directly from your browser;
* SearchStatus - shows PageRank page and its position in the ranking of Alexa;
* Google Notebook - allows you to take notes while viewing sites (for work in Notepad, you need to have an active Gmail account);
* SEO for Firefox - SEO information in Google and Yahoo! search engines.
* Session Manager - a functional manager of the sessions, maintains and restores the state of all windows;
* StumbleUpon - Toolbar StumbleUpon;
* VideoDownloader - allows you to download videos from YouTube, Google, Metacafe, iFilm and other sites;
* IE Tab - allows you to open Internet Explorer within FireFox;
* FireBug-you can edit, customize and monitor CSS, HTML and JavaScript directly in your browser.

Set up add-ons, then restart FireFox and start working. Over time, you bind to them so that will not be able to do without them.

Warning: Do not install too many add-ons. This can cause incorrect work of the browser.
